Narva sports school "Energia" was founded in 1986 and is supported financially by Narva city government. The main objectives of the school:
• to create environment for sport activities for children and youth in their spare time
• to advertise healthy lifestyle providing different kinds of sports for various societies
• to explore talented children and youth and help them to achieve the highest results during republic and international competitions
• to keep sports traditions of the republic and to ensure the education of well-trained generation that form teams representing Estonia
In our sports school we offer a selection of 10 kinds of sports: rowing, kayaking and canoeing, biathlon, basketball, volleyball, boxing, judo, cycling, motorcycling, and swimming. All of our 28 trainers are highly qualified specialists with a huge experience in their field. The total number of students is more than 800 people.
The school has a wide range of sport centers: rowing centre (Jõe 1), biathlon centre (Raja 5), gym (Viru 3), facilities for team sports and boxing (Tallinna mnt. 30), pool (Võidu 4), cycling centre (Tallinna mnt. 2b), motorcycling centre (Juhhanovi 3a).

Our famous sportsmen and their results
Andrei Starshov – the winner of the All-Union Sports Festival of Trade Unions in cycling;
Vjatcheslav Divonin – the World Champion in 1988 between juniors in 4x rowing, the participant of the Olympic Games in 1992 held in Barcelona;
Dmitry Frolov, Mikhail Aleksandrov, Virgo Treinbuk, Vjatcheslav Shilkin – the World Champions in 1990 between juniors in 4x Rowing;
Elena Vshivtseva (Poljakova) - biathlete, a participant of two winter Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992 and Lillihammer in 1994;
Viktoria Kuznetsova - the winner and participant of numerous competitions in judo, sambo, sumo;
Leonid Gulov – fourfold World Champion in rowing: twice between youth and twice between juniors, the participant of the Olympic Games 2000 held in Sydney in 2x with Andrey Shilin
Andrei Shilin - World Champion 2000 between juniors in rowing, the participant of the Olympic Games 2000 held in Sydney in 2x with Leonid Gulov.
